Reggie Huff has been working with semiconductor manufacturing organizations since 1981. After being awarded B.S. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California (at Santa Barbara), Reggie began his professional career as an Applications Engineer. He spent several years in the "technical trenches" solving circuit problems on the bench, publishing applications notes & technical articles, chairing professional sessions at WESCON, NORTHCON, SOUTHCON, ELECTRO, etc. and developing/leading technical training programs for sales professionals.
Later during several years working as a Western Area Sales Manager he developed an appreciation for the challenges faced by field sales people as well as a respect for the work performed by Rep and Disti professionals. Finally, in 1989 while Director of Worldwide Marketing, Reggie left the corporate world and founded Huff Communications.
Reggie has developed a variety of dynamic presentation skills. His forte is in translating ideas from complex high technology jargon into simple English. He has authored many technical books and articles, including "Demystifying Modern Electronics" and the "Tech Talk" column featured in Electronic Buyers News.
